If you like balsamic vinegar, you'll love this one that has a nice hint of blackberries, with a traditional balsamic finish.
This vinegar is made with both blackberries and grapes, and can be incorporated into any meal. It's perfect for green salads packed with nuts, fruit and cheese. Or try it on roasted vegetables such as sweet potatoes or Brussels sprouts, and to dress hearty grain salads made with farro, quinoa, or couscous.
Pair it with your favorite oil and dress a salad of tender greens, goat or blue cheese, candied walnuts or almonds, and seasonal fruit (e.g. pears, apples, pomegranate seeds). One of our go-to appetizers is a wedge of blue cheese or creamy brie with a drizzle of Blackberry Balsamic Vinegar, served with crackers or crostini.
The Vineyard Organic Farm
Nestled on a twenty acre natural landscape, is the two acre organic farm known as "The Vineyard". Their wonderful micro climate, in the California Central Coast, allows them to grow a wide variety of fruits, herbs, and vegetables. All work to create the vinegars is done by hand.
The vinegars start with hand-selected, hand-picked fruits, herbs, and vegetables grown on the organic farm. The fruits and herbs are placed in small vats along with an organic vinegar.
I’ve been to olive oil manufacturers in Europe and this olive oil tastes just like it should, fresh with a kick at the end means it’s really good quality. I was so pleasantly surprised when I tasted it for the first time and it was like I was back in an olive grove in grease tasting olive oil that had been pressed right in front of me. I love that I can get it locally in Holly Springs, NC, at the farmer’s market or hand-delivered to my door. I always keep it on hand and use it for salads, bread, pasta etc. Good oils like this are so important to being healthy.
The Fig Balsamic Vinegar is very tasty. I use it and the Olive Oil on salads that have strawberries, blueberries, rasberries along with assorted vegetables. I will be ordering again soon.
